Defending your Mate

My latest read is a three-volume Arc that was provided courteous of the amazing author team which is Kit Rocha, but writing as Moira Rogers, for a new breed changing erotic romance release title Defending their mate. Defending their mate( last pack series) is available on Amazon(Link below). It will be released in three short volumes. Kit Rocha also has other books that Dystopian erotica romance series's title the O’Kanes and the Gideon Riders that are available for Purchase as well. Now let's get to the summary and my thoughts on this book.

The female lead is named is Grace, and the male leads are Mac and Conor. We first Met Grace in Protecting their mate volume three.  Not many female wolves are left, so the males need to track the remaining females to find mates. Grace is entering their mating heat or fever. Conor and Mac are there to help her explore her sexual side while in the fever. The men are scared of the mating heating because of an accident that happens the first time they found another female wolf. But Grace pushes Mac and Conor into a relationship with her. But as it turns out Grace also wants a chance to see if the other males will fit her or if Mac and Conor are the perfect ones for her. Why not go buy this book to find out what happens.

I am a fan of Kit Rocha so for me I am rating this book a 3.5 out of five stars. Why 3.5 stars, because I am enjoying these short volumes of Erotica. They seem to have a beautiful story mix into the romance which I always love. I love books that have an edge to them that always leaves you wanting more. I also love how Kit Rocha writes very timeless romantic stories. I also really love these characters. Grace is just trying to adjust to this new protective Wolf pack. While Mac and Conor don't want a repeat of a woman hurting herself because of the Pack. They each are just trying to find their own way without causing more pain, which is beautiful but at the same time Pain helps growth. I honestly can't wait to find out how this story ends. This is just a really great short story and I can’t wait to read the next two volumes. As always all links for the author, books, and my social media are listed below

Santa Countdown to Christmas

Santa Countdown to Christmas by Kim Thompson (Author), Élodie Duhameau (Illustrator) is an E Arc I received through NetGalley. The reason I requested this book is that I have young children in my life who enjoy cute stories. This book was exactly that, it was a cute adorable Christmas filled book for kids between the ages of 3-9. It releases for purchase on October 2 according to Netgalley in Hardcover form. Now on to my thoughts about this book.
It is a Christmas tale about what Santa does from December 1st to the 24th. It's almost like a Christmas Advents Calendar but in book format. Each Day Santa has a new story or thing to handle in the story. You also get some pretty pictures of Santa and his friends throughout the book. Its overall gives you a great Christmas vibe and beauty. I would recommend this for anyone who wants get Christmas books for the little ones. Now onto my final thoughts on this book.

This book illustrations are amazing, they alone are 5 out of 5 stars. Then the story is adorable and totally 5 out of 5 stars. They illustrations bring such life to the words of the story. Santa’s Stories or problems are so cute and simple but would appeal to any little kid. It's just a great book to read all of December. You can take the book down off the shelf each day and read that days section to the kids. I can’t wait to get this book myself for the kids even though I have read the Arc because my kids will enjoy the book each year. I believe all kids would enjoy this each year, especially the little ones. It's a great Christmas fun filled buy like the ELF on the shelf. As always all links for the author, the book, and my social media will be listed below. (AMAZON CREDITED FOR ALL MY PHOTOS USED)

The Boy next door Review

Hey!!fellow book lovers, I have an another new blog for you today. The thing is I don't know why I haven't written this blog before because I did finish this book back in July. Somehow amongst the many things I have to do, I forgot to write the blog for Katie Van Ark's The boy next Door, which is weird because I love this book. Luckily I did take notes, So I can write the blog now for you all and post it. I did purchase this book off of Amazon on June 23rd, 2017, after finding it from the Publisher site SwoonReads and I finish it on July 17th. I really love many of Swoon-reads books especially during the summer because they are mostly contemporary young adult or new adult romances. So now onto my summary and final thoughts of the book.

This book is about a figure skating couple named Gabe and Maddy who have been friends and neighbors since childhood. They become neighbors during their childhood, then partners for skating thanks to Gabe's mother who used to skate as well. As for Maddy, her Father and Mother are a dressmaker and Senator, while both of Gabe's parents are Doctors. Now back to present day where Gabe and Maddy are competing to become an adult pair skating team compare to them being a junior team. Not only are they trying to be an adult pair's team but add in the fact that Gabe now has feelings for Maddy now, while Maddy has kinda of always had feelings for Gabe. While trying to be a new couple which they decide to keep a secret plus an adult pair team, they also come upon a lot of misunderstandings in the relationship, dun dun dun. Like all romance plots always seem to suggest, do they overcome those misunderstandings or do they let them win and stay apart, the only way to know is for you to buy the book.  Now onto my final thoughts for this wonderful book.

I rated this book 4.5 stars out of 5 because it just bought so many nostalgic memories back. As a child, I would spend my weekends watching Pair skaters or skaters, such as Michelle Kwan and then Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov. This book especially reminded me of Gordeeva and Grinkov from the very beginning which is funny, because  Katie adds a line in this book about the couple. This book was such a 90s nostalgia for me and I loved it so much. I also loved how Gabe started to fall for Maddy, it was so sweet and adorable. Katie makes you really want these two together from the very beginning as a couple. Katie also is a former skater, had the knowledge of Skating and really puts it forth in the writing. She describes the skater moves so well. Katie also did a great job of making Maddy the fearless one while Gabe was usually the one scared of things that really matter. I just honestly can't tell you how much I love this book. This is one book I know I will reread over and over again for just the story. P.S Katie, if you have any new books coming out, I would love to review them, Kidding only a little. This is just a new favorite of mine, that I sincerely hope I convince you to pick up, read and buy. Please Go BUY this book Please. Gideon's Rider Deacon

Hello, Fellow Book lovers and welcome back to my Blog. I first would like to apologize because these past three weeks or more have been heck it, So I haven’t had any blogs up because I haven’t been able to read. Now let's get back to regularly scheduled programming. The latest  Arc that I have read was provided courteous of the amazing author team which is  Kit Rocha, for their new dystopian erotic romance series the Gideon Riders. Kit Rocha also has another Dystopian romance series title the O'Kane's. The reason I am mentioning this is that the O'kanes play a part in this series too. I have read several of the O'Kane romance novels, which are basically wonderful Erotic dystopian smut involving wonderful fun loving characters. Once again it is kinda of, sort of the Grown-up Hunger Games in a way. I love the O'kane series because I am a smutty romantic reader at heart. So let us get to the second book Deacon in the new Gideon riders series.

Like I have said above this is the second book in the GideonRiders series which is a gang and family run by Gideon. The Riders are essentially dystopian Outlaws aka RobinHoods in a dystopian Eden. In this Utopia Eden, the cities are Sector very much like the Hunger Games. Eden is the top, its the Capital but also very much the wasters of the world, who think all life is meant to be insanely perfect. But the rise of the O'Kanes and Gideon's Riders are trying to put a stop to that . In book two we now meet Deacon and Ana. Ana has spent all her life proving that she can do anything a man can do. She works harder every day to remain in the lead so she can prove that any female can be apart of the Riders. But what Ana doesn't plan on is Deacon. Deacon's is a man with a dark deadly military past who believes that he can forget his past as long as he works for the good outlaws. Then he meets Ana, who he has to train and sparks fly, but will the past lie in wait to destroy them or help them be better. If you want to know, you should go pick up the latest book.

So I rated this book 4 stars out of five, because of the plot. But I will admit once again, I do tend to find smutty erotic romance novels in general, very predictable. Now with that being said, I will forever read a Kit Rocha Novels, and here are the reasons why? One, the writing of their actual characters and their development is bloody brilliant. Two, these books are completely action packed. Three, the characters in all of the books, are so well written, that you can't help but enjoy their personalities. Plus Four Kit Rocha has a lot of diversity in their books and writing which is always awesome to see in any book genre. As for Deacon and every book since the O'kanes series, I have noticed that Kit Rocha's team writing has developed a ton. What I mean by that, is that this book is not a constant sexy moment, every time you change the page( not that there's anything wrong with that). This Story seems to have more of a developed storyline with the characters and their backgrounds compared to the first O'Kane book. In Deacon's book, you see the character's personalities are more typical of humanity, then romance fiction characters. Now as for the cover, because I am that annoying reader who discusses the cover. I do love the cover on this book. It's so colorful and is what is current for dystopian style romance novels right now on the American market.

Overall, this was an amazing book, I really enjoy everything in this book. Ana is a fierce female lead, which is typical of any Kit Rocha novels. She is a beautiful, powerfully well-written female who stands for something. She also works hard to rise among her male counterparts. She doesn't let the men push her around or away from the real action of work. Now Deacon is completely her equal with his typical, I am a male attitude. But I also love the fact that Deacon has a past, he is trying to make up for. He wants to be forgiven for his mistakes by the atonement. He also wants Ana as his equal too while trying to protect her. I just can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book, and I know you will too if you love Erotic romance like I do. Also if you have ever wanted to read a Hunger games romance style type of Novel, this is the book for you. This book is now available for purchase. GO BUY IT NOW. As always all of the Authors link's and my Information is listed below. Thanks again for visiting and please feel free to comment, share and follow.

I Eliza Hamilton Review

Hello Fellow Book lovers and welcome back to my Blog. I first would like to apologize because these past three weeks or more have been heck it, So I haven’t had any blogs up because I haven’t been able to read. Now lets get back to regular schedule programming. This blog will be about the book I, Eliza Hamilton by Susan Holloway Scott, which comes out September 26, 2017 for Purchase. I received this book as an E Arc on Netgalley for review. Now onto my Summary and final thoughts.

This book is the historical fiction story of Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, and how she feel in love with Alexander Hamilton. It describes how they met and when they met. It involves other famous historical figures as well, such as the likes of Mrs Washington and the general. As well as Aaron Burr and people that Alexander met during his years in the army and office, along with Eliza. This story really takes a long look at what Paths Eliza had to walk, in order to be in the position she was and how she handle her relationship with Alex. Its a beautiful story of a brave woman who lead a hard long life because of her Position in this world. Now lets get to my final thoughts on this amazing book.

I first would like to say that I rated this book a 4 out of five stars even though its a retelling in a way of Eliza life. The beauty of this book is that Susan was able to mix real historical facts in with a beauiful tribute of a love story. She explored how Eliza handle Alexander promiscuous side of life. How she handle being around people like General Benedict Arnold wife, and still maintain respect as A Schuyler. So many people have been writing stories from Alexander point of view, that it was nice welcome change to see Eliza’s view of their life. I can’t wait to own a physical copy of this book, and I will definitely be buying this book. It really is truly informative on history as well as being a story of a fascinating couple. I also love how Eliza had the attitude of a First lady but wasn’t in the position.I believe that type of attitude is something that had to be real for her, considering she was good friends with lady Martha Washington. This book is just absolutely one of my favorite historical fictions of the year. I recommend you run, not walk but run to bookstore and buy this book on September 26th especially if your a Hamilton fan.I am just so excited for the 26th to be able to have a finish copy in my hands. As always the links for this book, the author will be listed below along with my links.

A Poison Dark and Drowning review

Hello, Fellow Book lovers and welcome back to my Blog. I first would like to apologize because these past three weeks or more have been heckled it, So I haven’t had any blogs up because I haven’t been able to read. Now let's get back to regularly scheduled programming. This blog will be about the second book, Poison Dark, and Drowning, in the Kingdom On Fire series by Jessica Cluess. This book was sent to me by Penguin Random House so I would like to send a Huge thank you to them for allowing me the chance to review this new book. This book will be available on September 19th for order and it is the perfect Halloween, Fall time read. It deals with so many awesome spooky magical things. Now on to my summary of this book.

This book takes us back to the first one, by reintroducing us to Henrietta, Blackwood and all of the other guys. We begin where we left off at the end of the first book, but now Blackwood is taking care of Henrietta. Henrietta is all about learning more about who she is, and where her Parents are. Plus Henrietta is still trying to fix other people as well, which is something that continues from the first book. As we go into this second book, Henrietta begins to attract many more young Suitors. We also meet some new awesome characters. We learn more about the Sorcerer's, the Demons, the witches and the magicians about in this world. We learn what Magic has to do with Henrietta, even more than we did in the first book. We as readers, really do start to notice the Harry Potter themes throughout this book. Plus We gain a new couple, that some of us might be happy to see and have been waiting for. I really do believe that you should honestly pick up this series, especially if you love spooky books around this time of the year. Now onto my final thoughts.

I am so excited by this book, because of how action pack it is. Jessica's really kept the pace in this book very fast, almost like bam!!! here is all of the action which leads to you as the reader, wanting to read more books in this series. The feelings you get when reading this series is very similar to books 5, 6, and 7 of Harry Potter. Just like Harry Potter, you learn who was really your friend all along and who wasn’t. You have magicians that seem full of themselves but really want redemption for mistakes they made. But then you have demons who might have been more at fault for this new world then others would suspect. Pretty much when you turn every corner, you have a new twist of this secret from long ago. As for the rating, I rated this book a four out of five, because of it as an amazing spooky mysterious story that will have you attached to it until its finish but still leave you wanting more. These first two books really leave you with a cliffhanger and no real end. Which is great for a series but I still like it when the book has that aww moment where you know its end but it still holds more for the next book type of ending. It just has no real satisfaction of an ending. So overall it's a great book otherwise, and once again like before I want to say, Jessica's does have a way with description that just holds your attention for the entire book. I find anybody from the age of 13 and up, will enjoy these books and want to keep reading the series, because I know I do. I really do hope you pick up this series and start reading it because it's an amazing read. It has demons that are very descriptive and yet terrifying. It has witches that are not supposed to be good but are, and Sorcerers who seem like the saviors but are destroying things daily. Then we have the magicians who might not be the worst people on the planet, plus it takes place in Victorian times which just give me Jane Eyre vibes all time. I am so in love with this series and can’t wait for the next book to come out. Once again thank you Penguin Random House for sending this Arc to me to review, I honestly welcome more if you have them. Also, this book is released on September 19th, 2017 so please go preorder now and linked below is my review of the first book so you can read that too. Now as always the Author link, as well as mine, will be listed below, until next time friends.
