Melih Youtube: Gideon Riders Book One: Ashwin

My latest read is an Arc that was provided courteous of the amazing author team which is Kit Rocha, for a new dystopian erotic romance release title Ashwin. Kit Rocha also has another Dystopian romance series title the O’Kanes. The reason i am mentioning this is because the O'kanes play a part in this series too. I have read several of the O'kane romance novels, which are basically Erotic wonderful dystopian smut involving wonderful fun loving characters. It is Kinda of, sort of the Grown up Hunger Games in a way. I love the O'kane series because I am a smutty romantic reader at heart. So lets get to this new dystopian romance series which is title Gideon’s Riders, and the first Book will be Ashwin’s.

So when we first begin with this book, we meet Gideon, and the riders, which is his gang and family. The Riders are essentially dystopian Outlaws aka RobinHoods. Then we meet the main male lead, Ashwin who works for the Eden Utopia military and his military orders are to infiltrate Gideon’s Life and business. The reason for this is because Gideon, is seen as a threat to the Perfect Utopia Eden life, after what the O’Kanes and sector four proceed to accomplished. In this Utopia Eden, the cities are Sector very much like the Hunger Games. Eden is the top, its the Captial and very much the wasters of the world, who think all life is meant to be insanely perfect. Which we all know these Eden type places are never perfect and are always screwed up in some way, just saying. So Ashwin doesn’t anticipate meeting a former love interest by the name of Doctor Kora Bellamy when entering Gideon’s world. See Dr Bellamy has met Ashwin before, while he was in the military hospital, and she was the lead eden military doctor. So when one thing leads to another as it always does, of course Ashwin and Kora ends up in the bedroom tangle, like every good amazing smutty romance requires. This leads to more things coming to light and causing amazing daredevil danger. So got to go buy the book and if you need more convincing, here is a blurb from the book, "Lieutenant Ashwin Malhotra is a Makhai soldier—genetically engineered to be cold, ruthless. Unfeeling. His commanding officers consider him the perfect operative, and they’re right. Now, he has a simple mission: to infiltrate Gideon’s Riders, the infamous sect of holy warriors that protects the people of Sector One."

So I rated this book a 3.5 stars out of five, and it's not because I didn’t like it. It's because i tend to find smutty erotic romance novels in general, very predictable. Now with that being said, I will forever read a Kit Rocha Novels, and here are the reasons why? One, the writing of the actual characters and their development is bloody brilliant. Two, these books are completely action packed. Three, the characters in all of the books, are so well written, that you can’t help but enjoy their personalities. As for Ashwin's, I did notice that Kit Rocha’s writing has evolved a ton since the first O'kane Novel. What I mean by that, is that, this book is not a constant sexy moment, every time you change the page( not that there's anything wrong with that).This Story seems to have more of a developed storyline with the characters and their backgrounds compare to the first O’Kane book, again. In Ashwin’s book, you see the character’s personalities, more typical of humanity then romance fiction characters. Now as for the cover, because I am that annoying reader who discusses the cover. I do love the cover on this book. It’s so colorful and is what is current for dystopian style novels right now on the American market.

Overall, this was an amazing book, I really enjoy everything in this book. Kora is a fierce female lead, which is typical of any Kit Rocha novels. She is beautiful powerfully well written female who stands for something. Now Ashwin is completely her equal with his typical, I am male, hear me roar attitude.Which is so funny, because thats how Kit Rocha writes their male leads. I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this book, and I know you will too, if you love Erotic romance like I do, or if you have ever wanted to read a Hunger games romance style type of Novel, this is the book for you.
