She's So Boss

Hey Everybody, Welcome back to my latest book blog and today I have for you this wonderful awesome business Guide for young females. I would like to graciously Thank Quercus USA for allowing me the chance to read and review this awesome book. Now the Guide is called She’s So Boss by Stacy Kravetz. First off can we please talk about that awesome title, “She’s So boss”. It is such an amazing, balls grabbing title for a book. This title clearly shows you that this book is ready to get down to business, so you don’t have to wait. Now that I’ve express my views on the amazing title lets get to the rest of the review.


“She’s So Boss” is a book about business tips for young women who are entrepreneurs. This books is really geared towards helping young women learn more about how to start a business. It also discuss the in’s and out’s of creating a business, how to handle business social media and where to start when discussing business. One of the tips I learn from this book, is to talk to everyone about business, even just friends and family. When you get together with someone and they ask, hey how is it going. That is your moment to say well I am doing this type of business, for example I always share my latest book blog with my family whenever I can. This type of example helps you to learn how to sell yourself aka your business to people. It helps you to defined the important points of business. Another favorite tip of mine is the “How not to be annoying Marketer”, because lets face it we all hate annoying marketing, I know I do. I will also admit when I work in the fast food industry, we always had to up sell drinks, which means we would try to sell them the largest drink and I hate doing that to people. So this annoying marketer guide page really showed me how to change that. It gives tips on how to be nice when facing rejection and on how to post marketing on social media among other things. I honestly wish I had, had this book back when I started my Youtube videos five years ago or even when I was going to college for web design. This book hands you everything, you would learn in a business class, except it defines things in much simpler terms. This book literally provides step by step tips for how you should sell yourself and your business. It shows you how to take something you love and turn it into an everyday business. It gives you ideas on how to share that business proposal in a friendly way without over sharing. But it also provides you with examples from other Successful women in the business market. Overall I can’t tell you  how much I love and will continue to use this book for my business ideas. I am just going to say it, you need to buy, buy, buy this book on May 16th. This book is a life changer when your pursuing business, especially for a young female.





Examples of Tips in the book




As for the book, itself, I love the cover. Its bright yellow with blue, which means it welcomes you to read it but it will also be bold and kick ass when it comes to the business tips. I rated this book a 5 out of 5 stars because I believe everyone can benefit from this book, even though it geared for Women. In my honest opinion, a college teacher could use this as a text book or an extra book for teaching a business course. I could see this book providing a lot of Simpler faster method of understanding a business text book. This is also a great guide for those who want to learn business course methods but cannot afford college or retaking a business class. This book is honestly giving you a refresher course in easy to do tips without spending to much time on it. This is a great book for moms who have home business such as those new makeup commercial companies. This book in my opinion is great for everyone, even guys because of the sample, yet great business tips it provides. I also wanted to add if you are a young female starting a new business, this book is more then just a book, the author really did provide you with an education for less then 20 dollars in Us money. I know for a fact most of my text books cost more then that. Like I said before I wish I had this kind of education book when I was in college and just starting Youtube.  But hey don’t take my word for it, go buy it, it release in May and see how helpful it is to your own business. Hello and Please read










Hello Wonderful People of the World,

My Name is Meli and I have been blogging about Makeup for five years now on Youtube but recently I decide to use this blogging page as a way to blog about my other hobby which is books.  I have been an avid read since the age of 7. I actually use to spend all of my allowance as a teen on romance novels at the local thrift store. Seriously, if you had known me as a teenager, you would have known a very romance novel, book loving, shy teenager. But I think the thing that meant the most to me when searching for a new book, was that magical feeling I always got. That feeling of, this is an amazing story and how will I be able to stop reading it when its finish. Why? because I wanted to live in this book, kind of excitement . So maybe that's a little bit more information then you needed to know about me. But I think this information, will help you to know me better and why I love books so much. Great stories are why I also created this blog because I love sharing these things with my friends.


So now that you know a little bit about my love of books. I would like to ask one simple favor, that if you can, please just share my blog. But your probably asking yourself why? Well its simple for the love of a great new book. I want to share my book loves with more people and have them fall in love with the same books as me. So these are the reasons I am asking you to please kindly pass my blog along to others if you can.

I would like to also add that right now, I am only able to do book reviews on books that are currently out and available to the world and some of them might be extremely old books. You may be asking yourself, well why is she sharing this. Well for one, I notice that not all of my blogs, that are about older books are read. But another reason for this, is because it might be a book I love dearly  or it might be a book that I believe I have written an Unique review on. It also sometimes is because I believe certain great books go unnoticed when they need to be seen and so does the amazing author.

A Court of Mist and Fury






A Court of Mist and Fury is the second novel in Sarah J Maas Series "A court of". If you have not read this series yet, then let me tell you what it is about. It is a Series about Magical High fae people kind of like Lord of the Rings mix with a little Narnia. As I said first, this blog is about the Second book which is 624 pages long in Hardcover and will be available in Soft cover on May 2nd of 2017. That is also the day that the third book comes out in this Series, which is title "A Court of Wings and Ruin". This book is available where ever books are sold and is so worth your time, which if you continue reading this review, you will see why? 





When I started to read this book, I did not think I would like it at all. Why did I feel this way? It is because of Rhysand, who is the Lord of the Court of Nightmares. Rhysand is basically the Lord of a night time, dream like world. He is consider the most dangerous High Fae Lord because he is also mix with another blood line called Illyrian. Illyrian seems to be a more old school barbaric bloodline then his High Fae magical blood. In the first book Rhysand has a habit of acting like, a complete alpha male fool. So when I found out he was the male lead in this book, I thought Oh heck no.. I felt like it would become a Jacob and Bella relationship, from twilight all over again. But, thankfully it turns out I was completely wrong. Rhysand is not only a great guy but he also ends up helping Feyre over and over again in this book. Which then leads to Feyre, finally believing that Rhysand is a great guy caught up in a big mess. So when Rhysand asks Feyre for her help, she does it without hesitation. But that doesn't mean that She doesn't question Rhysand the entire way. Eventually one thing leads to another which causes a more dangerous mess for Rhysand and Feyre.. Bet your wondering how they get out of the bigger more dangerous mess, ain't you? Well then what are you waiting for, go buy the book after you finish reading the rest of this blog. 
As for the Book, I absolutely love everything about it, so much so that I rated the book a 5 out of 5 stars.  The cover on this Book is stunning, actually all of the covers for this series are Stunning. I love how fast pace this entire series seems to be when reading it. This world, just seems to open so easily as you read more chapters in each of the books. You come to understand why certain people are the way they are and why they have done what they have done. A Court of Series, is the first Series I ever read by Sarah J Maas, and it is so easy to see why Sarah is a writer. This world of Fae and magic just comes out so clearly and easily, while reading the books. If I am being honest, you won't believe how fast you will read these books. This series will probably be one of the fastest series you ever read. I also want to say I take back the fact that I said I don't think I would ever love Rhysand, because I am team Rhysand all the way now. I can't tell you enough about how much I love this entire series. It is extremely well written, it reminds me so much of Lord of the Rings. I also want to say because of how amazing this story is, I had a book hangover from the second book. I haven't wanted to read anything, because I am dying for the third book already. I honestly hope the third book is the final book because I do not know how I will survive waiting for another book. This story is just that kinda of story, you will read it, over and over again. It is as special as Harry Potter, Twilight or Hunger games. If you haven't read this series yet, I am telling you go buy all three books right now and read it, you will not regret it. A Court of Thorns and Roses Review







     I recently started to watch Booktube reviews because I was looking for new books to read. As I watch more reviews, I notice that every single person was talking about the series  A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I decide the series looked to good to not buy it and that was months ago. Now that the third book is set to be release, So I decide it was the perfect time to read the series and share my thoughts about it. Now with that being said lets get to my first review of A Court of Thorns and Roses, which is the first book in this series. 


So here is my general summary of A Court of thorns and roses. This book is about a Young human girl name Feyre who by chance meets an immortal by the name of Tamlin, through usual circumstances. Due to these circumstances, Tamlin makes Feyre agree to come with him to his land or as it is known, the Spring Court land. Feyre agrees which leads to love for the two of them, but then it brings problems for Tamlin. After the problems begin to arise for Tamlin, then he has Feyre  sent away. But the question then becomes will Feyre stay away or will she return, and for that answer, you will just have to buy the book. 






I really did love this book and I felt like it was such an easy read. The story seem to moved at a very fast pace and never really slowed down. Many people claim that it is a retelling of beauty and the beast but I don’t see it. I felt like I was reading Lord of Rings meets Narnia. I, imagine the female Villain at the end of the story, as the White witch and Tamlin reminded me of Aslan from Narnia. The way I picture the lord of the rings vibe was through the descriptions of the fairies or Fae as they are title. Plus in my mind I saw Lucien as Legolas from Lord of the rings. I honestly didn’t feel any Beauty and the Beast vibe from this story. But over all I really love the story and cannot wait to read the next two books. 

Now for my final thoughts on the first book of the "Court Of" as I called the series. I rate this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars, simply because of the middle half to the end. The final battle was very predictable in my opinion. I felt like the female villain, is a common core type of thing now a days in fantasy. The reason I felt like this, is because the female villain does stereo typical things of a villain except she is female. She falls in love with a guy who doesn’t want her, so in return she tries to blackmail him. Now with all of that being said, I still really enjoy this story. I enjoy it, far more then I thought I would enjoy a fantasy fairy type of story. Normally I am not a fan of these type of books, but this Series so far is the exception. Even with the rating I gave this book, I would still recommend it to others. I would most assuredly recommend this series to everyone and anyone who loves Lord of the rings or Narnia. The Inconceivable Life of Quinn



The Inconceivable Life of Quinn is an ARC book I received from net galley in exchange for an Honest review. This book was release in Hard book format on April 4th, 2017 on Amazon. After my review is done please always look below, because I link the book from Amazon to purchase. I usually buy on Amazon, thats why I link it and I also link all the information for the author. I would like to apologize, for this review being up late.

This book is about a young girl name Quinn, who finds out she is mysterious pregnant one day. Quinn cannot figure out how she got pregnant. Mean while, Quinn father is a politician running  for Office again. Quinn goes to the doctor and finds out she is pregnant but She thinks it is a joke. In fact she thinks it such a joke, that she tells a lady at her father's Political campaign party, which leads to news reporters finding out. At the same time her parents find out which causes Quinn to go on a big search of how this impossible pregnancy came to be. Now if you wish to know how Quinn actually ends up pregnant, go buy the book right now and read it. There is a lot of heaviness to this book but a lot of beautiful surprises too. 

Now I would like to add I was mad with Quinn parents at the beginning of this book. I felt like as a parent, they should not have doubt their daughter and her story. Someone who was lying would not continue with the same story over and over again. As for how Quinn ends up pregnant, that was so - so for me. I went into this book, thinking it was about Teenage pregnancy and YA romance but it ends up being a magical story about a pregnancy. I was lost by the writing a few times,  and to be honest, if I had purchase this book, it would have taken me a while to finish it. I am going to try and reread again to understand it better, but right now it was not what I thought it was. I felt like it was a very heart heavy story line at the beginning with the pregnancy and then proceed to try to become more light by adding magical elements. I know some people will love this kind of story because it  different then what is on the market right now in the way it was written. So to be honest, I think you would have to buy the book or even borrow it from the library to read, to see how you really like it. 

I rate this book a 3.5 stars because I love and hated the pregnancy story line development in this book. The author did a great job in describing things of the book that where major points to the storyline. I feel like you need to be in the right mood to read this book though. Now with all of that being said, please do check out this book and see if you want to read it. I am going to re-read this book again just because of the premise of the story and how it is so different. As always all of the information on this author, book and me the blogger are link below.
